Truth

The song says:

lead me, guide me

walk beside me

help me find the way

teach me all that I must do,

to live with Him someday

It does not say:

force me, chain me

pull me with a rope

make certain I stay on this path (even if I don't want to)

force this religion down my throat

until I resent it and only obey out of fear

(That was the other guys plan. Remember?)

We have our agency. It is the greatest gift that God has given us and one that He will never take away. We each have to decide for ourselves.

The truth is that I am no more responsible for their good personal choices than I will be responsible for their bad choices if they take other paths.
