Laurette (96) fell early this morning. Broke her hip, arm and wrist. We are headed to SMMC (two hours south) to go and see her. We will be making some decisions today concerning her care, as she won't be going back to where she was.
This just may be the beginning of the end. Mike sees these kinds of patients all the time. A quick decline is the norm. We are praying for an abnormal outcome. God bless her.

Never easy to see someone you love hurting and getting more hurt as time goes on. I hope all turns out well. Glad you could go and visit - hope that helps keep her on the brighter side.
